Comprehensive Office Building of Changsha University
Abstract: Design of architecture, structure and construction for comprehensive office building of Changsha University was performed in the current work. Framework of the third axes was chosen for the detailed structural design. Internal forces such as bending moment, shear and axial force of the framework under vertical loads were calculated by iterative method. Equivalent base shear method and D-value method were utilized for the calculation of internal forces of the framework under the horizontal loads. After combination of the internal forces, the most unfavorable combinative internal force was chosen for the steel bar calculation. Construction general plan drawing and traditional reinforcement drawing of the designed framework were also presented. The amounts of the foundation and the main framework were calculated. The bar graph schedule and the construction layout were also given.
